Often clients come to me with indiscretions from their youth or young adulthood which are keeping them from gaining good employment because it is showing up in an employment backgrounnd check made by potentional employers.

The law allows certain crimes and misdemeanors to be permanently expunged from your record. The law also allows for the sealing of other records.  This is an important consideration when you go to seek employment or academic or professional considerations. If your record has been expunged than you can honestly indicate on any type of application that you have no criminal record which might otherwise be hindering you from reaching your personal goals.

It expunges not only the final disposition of your case but expunges the arrest itself. So, under the law the arrest and judgment of the court are expunged (erased).
